at Jyosui Kaikan About 90 UCB alumni members joined the annual party. Following the opening speech by Mr. Konoike, president of UCBAA, Mr. Ninomiya presented 2003fs statement of accounts and achievement, together with the budget plan and events for 2004, being approved by all the participants.@After that, Dr. Hirotaka Takeuchi, Director, Institute of International Business Strategic Research, Graduate School, Hitotsubashi University, gave a lecture entitled gH. Takeuchifs Outspoken Criticismh. He pointed out the strength of Japanese Industry from the microscopic point of view, even though it may look weaker for the moment, and proposed that each enterprise should choose its own strategic position from now on so as to get the Japanese economy activated in the future. |
